9.41 miles today at 7:27 pace. Ran somewhat of a progression run with the first mile at 7:50 pace. 2nd mile at 7:24 pace, and then third and 4th around 7:40 pace. Felt really easy up to that point.
Mile 5 was 7:31. Mile 6 7:19. Mile 7 was downhill so I just coasted and ran a 7:07. Heart rate was still in the low 150s at this point. 7:17 8th mile and then 6:53 for the 9th mile.
By the time I ran the last mile I really opened up my stride and was just gliding along and actually felt a real runner's high the last .25 miles.
Then jogged a bit at 8ish pace to cool down.

The most remarkable thing about today's run was how easy it felt. Tuesday I ran similar paced but was struggling on deadish legs. Today I had a ton of spring in my step and just cruised along. My Garmin bumped up my VO2 max estimate from 55 to 56 after the workout as a reward.
